Vexve and Naval are now one strong family. The most comprehensive district heating and cooling valve family was born on 31 March 2014 when Vexve Oy acquired Naval Oy from the US based Flowserve Corporation.

Our family of durable valves ensures that district heating and cooling runs efficiently in China, Russia, Europe as well as the United States. With production of over a million valves, 90% is exported. Vexve won the Finnish President’s Internationalization Award in 2013.

Energy efficiently across the entire heating network
Vexve Oy is a more than 50-year-old family-owned Finnish company that specializes in energy saving products and services. Vexve valves ensure energy efficiency and economy through the whole heating network. Vexve's turnover in 2013 was approximately 50 million euro and it employs 160 people.
Vexve acquires Naval from US based Flowserve Corporation
Vexve Oy has acquired Naval Oy from the US based Flowserve Group, of which Naval was part since 2002. Naval manufactures ball and control valves as well as butterfly valves mainly for district heating. Product applications are growing, for instance natural gas and steam valves, which are suitable for many kinds of industries. Naval turnover in 2013 was approximately 30 million euro and it employs 150 people.
More than a million valves a year
After this acquisition, the resulting extensive valve family totals more than one million valves per year, which are designed in Finland and manufactured in Laitila, Liperi and Sastamala. The premium products meet stringent international standards and regulations. Approximately 90 percent of products are exported to more than thirty countries. The main markets are Russia, China, Scandinavia, Europe and North America. District cooling valves show significant growth prospects, particularly in the Gulf region.
