Vexve (Vexve Group Oy) has completed its first EcoVadis sustainability assessment and achieved a score of 70/100, earning a bronze medal. This important milestone provides independent recognition of Vexve’s sustainability work and reflects the continuous efforts made across the company to strengthen responsible business practices.

Vexve (Vexve Group Oy) has completed its first EcoVadis sustainability assessment and achieved a score of 70/100, earning a bronze medal. This result places the company among the top 35% of companies assessed by EcoVadis during the past 12 months. 

This achievement is especially important for Vexve as sustainability has become an increasingly important factor in customer decision-making and supplier selection globally.

“For our customers, the EcoVadis assessment provides an independent and transparent evaluation of Vexve's sustainability practices, supporting sustainable procurement and strengthening confidence in us as a long-term business partner,” says Vexve’s Sustainability Director Mia Piirainen.

Over the past two years, Vexve has taken significant steps to help customers make informed and more sustainable choices. Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) now cover nearly 100% of key product groups across the Vexve, Frese and BROEN brands. To further support transparency, Vexve also publishes an annual review featuring a dedicated section on the company’s sustainability progress and initiatives.

While the EcoVadis assessment recognises the progress already made, Vexve’s sustainability journey doesn’t stop here.

“Although we are pleased with this result, we see it as a starting point rather than a destination. The assessment provides valuable insights that help us identify areas for further improvement. We remain committed to strengthening our sustainability performance and responsible business practices,” Piirainen concludes.
