Vexve supplied through conduit slab gate valves for a new gas pipeline and metering station project in Greece. This new infrastructure is designed for hydrogen-ready operation, including future use with hydrogen blends and up to 100% hydrogen.

The delivery included a total of 13 slab gate valves for demanding gas applications:

• 11 pcs of Through Conduit Slab Gate Valves 10” Class 600
• 2 pcs of Through Conduit Slab Gate Valves 4” Class 600

The valves were manufactured at our Czech factory in Dolní Benešov and delivered to Greece.

Supporting future hydrogen infrastructure

As hydrogen infrastructure continues to develop, reliable valve solutions play an increasingly important role in ensuring safe and efficient operation. Vexve continues to invest in the development and testing of valves for natural gas and hydrogen applications, including environments with up to 100% hydrogen.

Already in 2020, Vexve launched a dedicated development programme to study the effects of hydrogen on valve materials, functionality and service life. The testing confirmed the suitability of Vexve Armatury valve designs for hydrogen applications and strengthened the company’s expertise in demanding gas infrastructure projects.

Vexve has extensive experience in supplying valves for critical gas applications, including transmission pipelines, compressor stations, storage facilities and industrial gas systems.

The project in Greece further demonstrates the capability of our Czech factory to deliver reliable solutions for the evolving energy sector.

From production to installation
