The heart of the Jewel is the enormous atrium (Centrum), rising eleven decks. Other features include full day spa and gym facilities, lounge entertainment, conference facilities and glass elevators facing the sea.

Task

Perfect air-conditioning in order to always have fully satisfied guests at the end of the cruise.

Unproblematic, noiseless and maintenance-free operation of the heating/cooling system especially when the ship is at sea between Fort Lauderdale (Florida) and St. Petersburg (Russia).

Solution

Frese Automatic Balancing Valves were selected to ensure the hydraulic balance of the heating/cooling circuit and the right temperature on board at all times.
