Project Overview and Details

The 118 is among Dubai’s most exclusive luxury residential buildings. While standing over 200 metres tall, the building comprises only 28 residences, each covering one or two full floors. Each home is designed with massive four-metre high ceilings with windows that frame the rooms offering rare, unparalleled 360-degree views of Downtown Dubai.

The 118 boasts state of the art technology with a temperature controlled swimming pool, an onsite fitness centre, private rooms for beauty treatments and spacious steam and sauna rooms.

The MEP contractor is Al Shirawi.

The consultant is Arch Group.

Solution

Frese has provided 411 Frese OPTIMA Compact pressure independent control valves. The apartments are controlled by a touch screen based room management system, which makes it important to maintain very precise control to match the comfort needs of the residents. Many areas in this project required control over ultra-low flows.

Frese OPTIMA Compact PICV with 2.5mm stroked valves gives an advantage of controlling very low flows on the fan coil units.
