When The Coca-Cola Arena opened its nine doors to the public in June 2019 it became the first major arena between Istanbul and Singapore capable of offering year-round entertainment – even during the hot summer months.

This multipurpose indoor arena is fully air-conditioned, allowing up to 17,000 guests to enjoy everything from major sporting events and world-famous touring artists to gala dinners and more intimate performances in a pleasant, cool atmosphere.

The arena was designed for maximum adaptability with a rolling modular stage, a retractable seating system, a state-of-the-art sound system and almost 400 square metres of LED screens.

Solution

The arena is a building with highly varying cooling load conditions, and it is important that the indoor climate requirements are met fast and with high precision.

Frese has supplied more than 350 pressure independent control valves, Frese OPTIMA Compact, to cater to the needs of the building’s climate control.
